Summer Programming Begins SUNDAY, JUNE 4, 2017
Early Childhood Families
- Nursery classes will continue as normal.
- Clubhouse programming will offer worship, large group teaching, and activities. If your child is here for 2 hours, they will remain in the Clubhouse for both hours.
Completed 1st - 5th Grade Families
If you just completed 1st-5th grade, you're invited to hang out with us on Sunday mornings at our Gadgets & Gizmos Garage … a fun place this summer to discover we are uniquely wired and wonderfully made!
This summer, we have overhauled The Backyard environment into a backyard garage! Our Gadgets & Gizmos Garage is a great place to hang out and be creative with us and experience all kinds of cool ways God made us to be creative.
Creativity is imagining what you could do because you’re made in God’s image. No doubt many of you have heard the term before—‘made in God’s image’ - but have you ever thought about what that could mean?
See you Sunday at the G&G Garage.
How Can You Help This Summer?
We give our small group leaders a much-deserved break over the summer. With their absence as well as many other leaders gone due to traveling and family vacations, we need your help as we continue to run awesome programming for your children.
If every parent volunteered to serve in one of our environments or classrooms for 2 weeks, we would cover all of our needs.
You do not need to prepare anything! Just come and be willing to have a blast learning right alongside our kids. This link (and the one below) will take you to our Sign-up Genius so you have the opportunity to play a part in the wonderful things happening in our environments. This is a great way to see if you might be interested in serving in our NextGen Ministry in the fall. Sign-up and simply serve 2 weeks over the summer.
Who are we?
NextGen is a ministry to kids and families committed to making disciples who make disciples.
Why do we do what we do?
We believe following Jesus will make your life better and make you better at life.
What is our goal?
- Each child will learn from the generation before it and serve the generation after it.
- Each family will be equipped and encouraged to fulfill its God-given role.
How will we do this?
- Small Group Model
- Celebrate Milestones
- Resource Parents
Every Phase gives amazing opportunities to point kids to God…
them physically in early childhood
It gives a first impression of a heavenly Father
their imagination in elementary
So they can discover how God’s story intersects with their story
their worth as they transition through junior high
Toward increasingly challenging questions
them to serve in high school
So they experience what God can do through them
