What is The Backyard?
The Backyard is a fun, creative environment for lower elementary (1st -3rd Grades) consisting of large group teaching and small groups where kids learn to make the wise choice, treat others the way they want to be treated, and to trust God no matter what!
When is The Backyard?
The Backyard is open during both services at 9:00 and 10:30. Check-in begins 15 minutes prior to each service hour. The 1st - 3rd grade kids remaining with us for 2 hours will engage in a variety of activities building community and teaching Biblical truths in the 123 Explorations Room.
Where is The Backyard?
The Backyard is located downstairs to the left of worship center. Just follow the hallway to the very end and you’ll be there!
Why is The Backyard Significant?
We are committed to pursuing strategic relationships by placing a third voice to speak into each child’s life. We have amazing small group leaders who are committed to pour into your child’s life, to partner with you, and to cheer you on as you help them discover who they are and where they belong in God’s big story.
What about my child’s safety and security?
All of our Backyard leaders have completed an application process, including a background check because we want you to feel safe when leaving your child in our care. Additionally, leaders receive training on safety guidelines and emergency procedures.
Our electronic check in system ensures safe drop off and pick up of your children. When you check in each week, your child will receive a security sticker with their name, allergy/health information and a randomly generated number. This number matches the pick up sticker printed for parents. If we need to reach a parent during the service, this number will be displayed on the screen in the Worship Center. The parent sticker is required for when picking up your child.
