In an effort to change the community around us, CPCC has formed several Strategic Community Partnerships (SCP's) within 15 minutes of our church location. These partnerships work directly with people in need and run the spectrum of age, demographic and difficult life situations.
Please take a moment to read about each partnership, then consider how God would want you to SERVE others compassionately in your own backyard. You can contact one of our Strategic Community Partner leaders using the contact information on each page.

Whiz Kids Tutoring
CPCC has partnered with Heritage Elementary School to help provide the Whiz Kids Program, a literacy-based, one-on-one tutoring and mentoring program, to their students in need. Whiz Kids is proactive and preventative in nature, targeting students who are reading below grade level and who could benefit most from a one-on-one relationship with a caring adult. We have several people from CPCC who have been tutoring students for the past few years, but there is always a need for more tutors.
WE NEED TUTORS!
Tutors meet with 2nd through 6th grade students at Heritage Elementary after school every Tuesday from 4:15 to 5:15 through mid May to help with reading, math or other homework and to be a friend and mentor to these students. You will be provided with all the necessary training and resources.
CAN'T HELP ON TUESDAY AFTERNOONS?
We are also looking for a snack coordinator, copy help and other light administrative duties.
