Parenting With Mental Health in Mind

Beginning October 15th

9:30 AM

A kid's inner world has the power to shape everything - their social lives, academics, and their overall mental state. The likelihood that your kid or teenager, or someone you know, will suffer from a mental health challenge is high. In fact, one in five kids suffers from an anxiety disorder. Anxiety is on the rise among kids, and so are depression, self-harm, and many other mental and emotional health challenges.

But there is hope! Research shows one of the best predictors of a kid's success in life is having at least one consistent, supportive, and caring adult in their lives - and that's you. "The Parenting With Mental Health in Mind: A Parent's Guide for Every Kid" course will help you learn the psychology of what's going on in your child's brain. This course will offer brain and science-based, practical tools to help you and your child navigate a mental health challenge. Upon completion of the course, you'll feel empowered and equipped to meet your kid's mental health challenges head-on and support them in the ways they need most.

MEET OUR

Every weekend students are invited to join us for their very own

worship services.

Middle School: Grades 6-8

High School: Grades 9-12

Every service is designed to help students understand their identity in Christ, connect in community, challenge them to live out the gospel, and of course have a ton

 of fun!

Night of Hearing

November 19th

5-9PM

This impactful event is designed to give students an opportunity to listen for God through seven stations of prayer.  Students will be instructed to stay silent for the majority of the event to really tune into the Holy Spirit and what He is speaking to them.  Think about that, an encounter with the God of the universe, it’s going to be awesome!

GROUPS

We believe students are not made to walk alone. Groups are a safe place for students to explore their faith, ask hard questions, be encouraged, and experience the bond of spirit filled community.

PARENTS

Parent Events are all about informing parents and equipping them as the primary influencers and trainers of their families. The goal of these events is to communicate how our ministry desires to walk alongside parents as they develop a family rhythm of discipleship with their students.

OUTREACH

Outreach events are where we emphasize reaching the lost by providing a fun experience, like a Color War or Blacklight Party. The goal of these events is to create a welcoming environment to draw in the disengaged, share the gospel, and allow students the opportunity to respond.

HANGOUTS

Hangouts are specifically intended for small groups to have fun together! Hangouts can be as simple as watching a football game or as adventurous as a day at the zoo. The goal of these events is to connect relationally through shared experiences amongst students and leaders.

EXPECT

WHAT YOU CAN

The student experience at Center Pointe is designed around four types of events to help our students live out the gospel.

BAPTISM?

INTERESTED IN

If you have made a decision to follow Christ, we encourage you to take the next step of Baptism. We believe it is an outward public testimony of an inward invisible transformation. If you would like to schedule a baptism or if you would like to learn more about baptism, we can help.
